My hubby, Shane Billau, shared this letter with me today via text msg. Hes been away from us since last Tuesday, left Wednesday afternoon to help with the fire. I didnt think I could be more proud of him, but reading this letter not only brought tears to my eyes, but a heart full of pride and appreciation for what he does. Thank you sweet child, for taking the time to recognize what others sacrifice on a day to day basis. What this little girl sees in firemen (police and more Im sure) is so heart felt and real. I wish others werent so close minded and one sided to admit this job is not as luxurious and cushy as theyd like to believe. This letter not only made my day, but my husbands, a father of two boys that miss him dearly, day too. Love you honey!!! Hope to see you soon.
