My hubby is going to kill me, but this is so share worthy in my book. I was cooking dinner when Aidan called me to come pick up him and Jasmine. I had chicken frying on the stove and Brownies in the oven. Hubby (Michael) cant drive for 24 hours after his procedure this morning, so I decided Id let him watch the food while I drove 10 minutes to pick up the kids and 10 minutes back. I tell hubby to take the brownies out in 8 minutes and dont let the chicken burn. As Im riding down the road almost to my destination, Hubby calls to tell me the brownies are not done in the middle and ask what to do. I tell him to put them back in the oven for a few minutes. I arrive home about 12 minutes later to a house full of smoke and Hubby pulling chicken out of the skillet and placing on a plate. The brownies are perfect, but the chicken.....wow. The topper, while Hubby was guarding the food so closely (sarcastic laugh) Junie cut up a quilt. Thats why Im so good at what I do and my job is never done. Cant no one else do my job. Monica, shouldve stayed for some chicken. Bahahaha. You said at least it smells good. I know you were trying not laugh. :-)
