My husband, Johnny Ray, sent this song to me today, via unorthodox channels (of course). He sent this to me because this song does a pretty good job describing what we, he and I, must go through every moment that we are together. For if we want to be together, we must endure excruciating heartbreak, sadness, & loneliness. There is no other way. Of course, with all that, us being together is also a happiness which has no comparison, no current words that can accurately describe our fiery passion, our happiness, our unconditional love beyond love. Yet, our mutual heartbreak, sadness, loneliness, & excruciating pain, is sublime, it is exquisite. It is all of these things, the pain and the passion and the love that create our existence as an entity, as Johnny and Julia Ray. The every moment of every day heartbreak is beyond mundane pain, it is something ethereal, something never before felt, something phantasmagorically beautiful. It is ours and ours alone.
