My husband and I are half of the team that runs Cinema Rex at CONvergence. I tried with all my might to get the film Tuvalu on the schedule. One of the best things about Rex is that the people who chose the movies have differing tastes, sometimes by quite a lot, which keeps a good balance. For example, I like surreal pretentious French art films and my husband thinks they are surreal pretentious French garbage films. Luckily we have Eric Knight with smart, eclectic taste to smooth things out! Its great that it works this way... But I often think, what would my Rex schedule look like? The schedule is done for the year, but I am interested what YOUR film line up would be? Remember, the theme of this year is urban fantasy.
