My husband and I had the pleasure of helping my dad pass on to his heavenly father on Tuesday evening. It was very peaceful, and I told daddy he had my permission to go home and be with mom. Amazingly that is exactly what he did. The hospice nurse was with us which was extremely helpful. My coworker Cheryl gave me some wonderful advise which also helped me immensely. A great big thank you to all my friends, family, and co-workers who are praying for my family and have given me such great advice. I had some gastric issues last night and a lot of back pain, but today I am just extremely tired. We spent all afternoon with the pastor and funeral home to make arrangements. I am truly grateful to my family for complying to my wishes to have the viewing and funeral on Saturday. Thanks again to all of you.
