My husband definitely can be a sweet heart sometimes! We went to dinner tonight and noticed this elderly man and woman sitting across from us and of course I just thought they were adorable but we also noticed that the man had on a Veterans Air Force hat and sweat shirt and at that time Cliff said we are going to pay for their dinner! He got our waitress and told her what he wanted to do, we didnt want recognition or anything just wanted to do a nice gesture! Well, as it turns out the elderly man and woman were ready to leave before we were and their waitress had told them that we took care of their bill, at this point I see the man get up from his chair and walk towards Cliff and I (by this time, I have tears in my eyes), he came up to us and said You did not have to do that but I appreciate it so much. I could hardly say any words to him but luckily my husband took care of that part for the both of us and made small talk with him. When the man left our table, I noticed my husband had tears in his eyes as well!!! This was by far one of my most favorite dates with my husband! Thank you to all the veterans out there who have served and are serving! Thank you for putting your life on hold and on the line so we may have freedom and protection!!! ☺️
