My husband is my hero. Hes the most brave, kind, loving and thoughtful man I know and hes got cancer. Of all the kinds of cancer possible, he has prostate cancer. For that we are thankful. Yes, we are thankful for prostate cancer. It could be so much worse. Tomorrow, he begins 7 weeks of daily radiation, which will complete his treatment. Two weeks ago he underwent surgery for the initial phase of treatment, when they implanted 50+ radioactive seeds into the prostate itself. Now, the radiation will finish mid-December and we are praying for a cure. These are some of the images he RELUCTANTLY posed for during our session together.... Hes even more handsome than the day I first laid eyes on him back in late 1979. As the founder of The Oldham Project and one of the volunteer photographers, I never dreamed Id be taking pictures of someone in my own family.... it was a challenging moment for both of us. Please pray for a swift recovery, without complications and a smooth path through this difficult time. Thank you!
