My husband was fortunate enough to be able to nab this old horsebarn off a job site. He had to take it apart and re assemble it here at the house. I nabbed on to half of it, where I have the back part as a sewing/crafts room and the front as a sittting room. Most of the furnishings were purchased at thrift stores and on Craigslist.....but I absolutely had to have a small deck and a garden, of course....!! :)......I dug out the holes for the steps and mixed the concrete myself. I added small metal figures of insects and bees into the wet concrete for whimsy..... The huge rock has a fossil imprinted on one side and is very special to me.......
