My impressions about the Ministry in Central Government : Mr. Arun Jaitley, the master strategist of BJP, has helped the party win many ( state-level ) elections in the past , and even in Lok Sabha elections 2014; he made significant contribution, as a key aide and trusted Lieutenant of Mr. Narendra Modi, in ensuring electoral success of the party. Anyway, hes a Rajya Sabha member. His selection in Cabinet, and in charge of key portfolios is in due consideration of his merit , and his contribution to party. Mr. Amit Shah may get Defence, if he doesnt get elected as President, BJP Two names will make SoGa / RaGa uncomfortable : Ms. Maneka Gandhi, Mrs. Smriti Irani. One name will make Mr.Rajnath Singh uneasy : Mr. Kalraj Mishra. Long back, Rajnath Singh and Kalraj Mishra were leaders of almost equal stature in UP politics. With Rajnath Singh becoming Chief Minister of UP , his relative ascendancy started. Now both Cabinet Ministers in Central Government, things are looking more at par. One name will make Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan feel the heat : Ms. Uma Bharti. The two have had serious power struggle in the past. No cabinet rank minister from Rajasthan. The authority of Ms. Vasundhara Raje will remain unchallenged in Rajasthan. The lone BJP MP from TN gets inducted in Ministry. BJP has serious plans to expand in TN. Mr. Sadanand Gowda and Mr. Anant Kumar : two cabinet ministers from Karnataka. Mr. Yeddiyurappa is a key figure in Karnataka, and BJP wants to wrest Karnataka, but Mr. Yeddiyurappa has to wait longer for a seat of power. The PM is conscious about image of the person. Mr. Gopinath Munde will be the face of BJP in Maharashtra even if BJP has to concede CM post to its ally in the coming Assembly elections.
