My intention was not so much to highlight this horrible experience/ordeal but to share Joel SixstringsThreevalves Young thought on the matter; there has been so much painful crap going on and because of social media, we cannot hide from it any longer. Ive been all in my feelings over it all and found it to not be a good idea to respond out of emotion... Anywho, heres my cut & paste of Gandhi-Joel Young, whom I truly love and respect. Too many people fought for me to be alive and well today, for me to sit around and battle within myself about how I would look via my peers (FB friends list) if I post certain articles, photos, and videos about this. The people Im speaking about didnt even know me, they are dead and in the grave. I have traveled here and there, from country to country representing the ideas of America the best I know how bringing no shame on this country. I have been respectful, upright and responsible as a Citizen, paying taxes and abiding by the Laws of the Land. I have the right to speak about what happens in my country - no one should even debate within themselves about engaging any communal issue, especially when it hits home personally. Id be a selfish, disrespectful, ungrateful, and ignorant human being in my society to not speak out (Tactfully, Respectfully, Wisely, etc.) about whats going on. Ill be riddled with accusations and judgement if I speak my OPINION, and Ill be debated when I present credible facts, either way someone isnt going to like it. But just because someone doesnt like it doesnt mean I should make null and void the blood, sweat, tears...lynchings, beatings, spitting-ons, rapings, framings, lies etc. that my indigenous forefathers experienced. No. If I dont speak on it, If I dont engage, If I suppress and stash-away whats going on, then I cant say anything in protest when Im 60 years old and my sons and daughters of whatever ethnic-combination they may happen to be, experience the same. Delete me, Inbox me privately in my inbox instead of posting on the comment feeds publicly for whatever your reasons are - I dont care. If you really KNEW me, youd know more than just my HEART intentions - youd know what I stand for. You can turn your head, or ignore it all you want, but I watched a video of police officers (supposedly dressed with more military gear than Military soldiers that actually fought in war via the Middle East) fire on Reporters of the PRESS and peaceful civilians - and they werent in the GHETTO/HOOD - this took place in a residential area where you find mini-vans and manicured lawns void of the fixings of the typical low income, crime infested neighborhood. My point is, it will all eventually end up on your doorstep - UNLESS healthy communication is had to rectify the matters at hand, and they can be rectified! Its existing today because the people that actually can make a change by engaging are CONTINUOUSLY SILENT AND UNINVOLVED. But we cant talk about anything unless people are AWARE. No one likes Negativity, but sometimes you have to face the facts - we are ALL LIVING LIFE - and LIFE is not always CareBears and Rainbows. This is Reality! Shot down like an animal......
