My itialian stuffed loaf Loaf of french bread Pound of itialian sausage. Pound of burger Whole onion Whole garlic bulb. Yep entire thing 1 green bell pepper 1 red bell pepper Pound of itialian cheese. Pound of mozzarella 2 small cans of diced black olives 2 small cans of cut mushrooms 2 small cans of basil garlic tomatoes sauce 1 big can of diced tomatoes Pinch or 2 of salt 1 hollow out the French bread. And save chunks for later. Oh a I put bread top back on before baking. I brown the garlic and then meat. Add in cut up veggies then cook down I drain after they start getting tender. I add tomatoes mushroom and olives next. I simmer that till it thickens up a little. Not to soggy. Then I layer in meat mix and cheese. Then finish with layer of cheese and stick top of bread back on. I bake it in oven for a bit to melt cheese melts I let stand to cool down then slice it up. Ive made a Mexican version spice by add in taco seasoning and sliced in jalapeños.
