My jihadi son makes me want to vomit, says father of home-grown terrorist Mohamed Elomar THE father of home-grown terrorist Mohamed Elomar is standing shoulder to shoulder with the man his son has threatened to kill. Mamdouh Elomar is sponsoring a “Muslims 4 Australia” BBQ organised by moderate community leader Dr Jamal Rifi. “We want to show our united face because we love Australia,” Mr Elomar, speaking publicly for the first time, told The Daily Telegraph. His son Mohamed Elomar left Australia to fight with the terrorist group IS in Syria and has posted pictures of himself holding up the severed heads of enemy soldiers. When Dr Rifi condemned him, Mohamed Elomar posted a $1000 reward on social media calling for information on the mild-mannered doctor. “Any details were (sic) he works or knows if his got kids which school they attend. I said I am willing to pay $1000 just for details,” he wrote. His father was horrified: “Dr Rifi and his family has been a friend of my family for a long time. When someone told me that my son had threatened him I rang him up and asked what I could do.” Together they arranged a barbecue in Parry Park at Lakemba on Sunday, September 14, to show Muslims are “part of team Australia”. “Whatever happens overseas we want to be a part of the Australian community,” Mr Elomar said. “I love Australia. I married in Australia, I made my money in Australia, my business is in Australia. We want to show we love Australia.” Mr Elomar said his son had once worked in his construction business but he became lazy: “He was just bludging all the time and said he didn’t want to work, so I kicked him out. dailytelegraph.au/news/nsw/my-jihadi-son-makes-me-want-to-vomit-says-father-of-homegrown-terrorist-mohamed-elomar/story-fni0cx12-1227045608259?nk=2c97abe7ee6025340453ad12c17be7ad
