My journey at YPW started attending one of their workshops aimed at equipping the unemployed youth, even though Im not youth anymore, I decided to attend. It was a life altering experience. The workshops were absolutely informative, I was privileged to interact with volunteers and various partners especially UWC. I decided to become a volunteer through our churchs partnership with YP@W. Looking back Ive grown such a lot. I now work at a small Law Firm in Parow thanks to Frank at YP@W referring me and became a trainer/facilitator teaching online job search training and then evening classes. I absolutely enjoy every class. I had an awesome opportunity to job shadow Ms Yolanda Van Der Westhuizen who is a facilitator and moderator.Through YP@W I was able to attend a project management short course at RLABS. If I could do it over I wouldnt change a thing.I will always feel indebted towards YP@W for my experience. I am empowered to influence others positively and make the circle bigger and continuing to empower.
