My kids are eating some chocolate coconut hearts. Its a healthy - TopicsExpress

My kids are eating some chocolate coconut hearts. Its a healthy snack that I can feel at ease giving them. Having three children so close together I have found everything revolves around what sort of mood they are in that day. Ive learnt that routine is a massive factor but Ive found after observations I can pick their moods dependent on the foods they have eaten. The more sugary food and drinks they have, the more unpredictable their moods become. When I limit their sugar intake they become better behaved. Allowing them to eat healthy means my routine becomes smooth. I can go to the shops on my own with three of them. I can get them to sleep all at the same time of day for the same amount of time. This is largely affected by the food they are consuming. I dont want them to feel like they are missing out on treats. Heres my alternative.. Recipe 1 cup oats 1 cup puffed rice 15 dates 1 banana 1 teaspoon coconut sugar 2 tablespoons of cacao powder 1 tablespoon of coconut oil Blend in the food processor and watch it mix into a big ball. Use coconut oil (melted) to grease the tray (Im using rubber ice cube trays) Squash in the tray and place in the fridge
