My kids are in awful schools; detrimental to their physical, mental, and academic well-being. Being so sick and having no friends out here leaves me feeling very overwhelmed at the idea of home schooling. I dont know where start or who to ask. We are nearly homebound now and I worry that if they arent going to school, well hardly leave the house at all. But...They cant continue in these schools. I am in multiple groups and have been for years, but my family is kept as outsiders and not welcomed in to the closer knit groups. Not sure why, but I suspect the same would happen in a homeschool group. I cant even get one single person to agree to be seen in public with us at a park. Im at a loss, but watching my children suffer and beg to stay home from school is hurting my heart. I just feel like i cant do this without a support system.
