My kids just about shat today when they heard the engine in my car. They usually dont hear it up close because of the hours I work. Today I warmed the engine, then slowly brought the revs to 2500 (at which point the kids were holding their ears!) and then a quick bark at redline (5700 limit) - poor buggers all cried and ran away! I felt bad for making them cry. But then I felt good about: no toddlers touching my stuff no toddlers drinking coolant no toddlers asking Whats that? Whats that? Whats that? Whats that? and no toddlers slapping cups and toy shovels against the car. Would I do it again? Hmmmm.......
