My kids just submitted a review of book week: What we liked about book week. The dress up day was really fun because we were able to spend a day out of our school uniforms and pretend to be our favourite characters. Another great thing about book week was the older library books going on sale for any of the students to purchase. The books are being sold much cheaper than those in the shops, which is a great advantage for the students who want to buy multiple books as they aren’t spending all their money. The little competitions that Miss Hallam-Walsh held were also a fun thing during book week. It was cool to see all the different costumes that she wore throughout the week, and it was fun to try and guess what she was dressed as every day. The other competition, the “Guess the Teacher” competition, was awesome because as well as trying to see could get the most correct guesses, we got to see how adorable the teachers looked as children. All in all, book week was an epic experience and we can’t wait for next year.
