My larger than life, handsome, knew no stranger, big brother would have been 50 years old today. The years, they just fly by. My best memories of him are living on the farm next door to Beth Burkett Good, making mud pies with our pet raccoon beside us in the garden......playing in the creek making salamander habitats in a metal tub.....walking down our quarter mile long lane to catch the school and Sunday school bus while he found earthworms and threw them at me......him always there thru the turbulent years of our parents divorce, adolescence, and teens. He walked me down the aisle in Hawaii and we fumbled our way through losing our beloved mother who raised us through some very difficult times. I watched him lead the way as a parent to Garrett Zimmerman and Sydney Dirling and little Keegs. He showed us how to live large and with transparency and integrity. Always loyal and genuine.
