My last day for posting a photo that is close to my heart finds me posting two instead of one, since it is my last day! How can I not post a photo of my moose and of me in my snow element....both very special subjects to me....lol! I was working in the front of the house early one June morning and heard huffing coming from behind the trees that run between the house and the road. There was just enough break in them to see a persons legs walking very slowly by but that weird noise was continuing so I got up and just watched those legs. This was when I realised those legs were the legs of a moose, not of a man. I dropped my gardening tools immediately and ran into the house, grabbed my camera and dashed back out in record time. As the moose peered around the trees and up our driveway she spotted me right away and promptly took off at a fast trot. She crossed the road and was gone into the bush without a sound but not before I got this photo! Her winter coat is working its way out as her summer outfit shows. Shes a bit ratty looking but well muscled and healthy as she heads into the hot weather months. And now from summer I go to winter with the photo that started it all.... my annual bathing suit picture in the snow! This concludes my 5 day photo challenge Angela! :)
