My last five mobile phone manufacturers: Nokia, Sony-Ericsson, - TopicsExpress

My last five mobile phone manufacturers: Nokia, Sony-Ericsson, Palm, HTC, (whoever makes ) Bauhn (for Aldi). I still use a Sony-Ericsson dumbphone for business (where I dont need all the smart stuff, just making and receiving calls). Reasons for changing: Nokia -> S-E: Needed a multi-band phone because I was travelling to the US. Coincidentally, Id dropped my Nokia in the toilet - everything worked perfectly after it was dried out except the speaker, so I couldnt hear it ringing. S-E -> Palm: Combine PDA and phone, one less thing to carry, forget, or lose. Palm -> HTC: Waiting for Palm Pre, but Palm company imploded, was bought by HP and destroyed. HTC -> Bauhn: Windows Phone 6.5 no longer supported, so I thought Id try Android. Also, the HTC was locked to Telstra and people wanted money to change this even though I was well out of contract and I owned the phone. I still have the Palm Treo 750 and the HTC HD2. Both work perfectly and are handy as spares. The Palm is unlocked, but the HTC takes an Aldi mobile card because its the Telstra network.
