My last holiday gem of wisdom. Understanding that my race has a built in deficit in privilege that sometimes means I have to understand when its just no use and my son will not get the things the law says he should no matter how hard I fight for them. So I need to find another way to spend my energies in a positive direction to help him get what he needs. The irony of this is that I help others get their kids what they need but have been unable to overcome the incredible vindictiveness of my own region to help my boo.
