My last photo CD went out yesterday and Im officially wrapping up 2014 for Amy Taylor Photography. This was a big year for me- in the past years, Ive taken photos of family and friends but this year I decided to push myself and start taking photos outside of my friends and family circle. I took photos for my very first photo session (as a business) this year on May 31st. Since then, Ive taken photos of 33 wonderful families. Its been a great first year. Each photo shoot allows me to do something I love- to see people through my camera lens and help capture memories. To help capture inner beauty; to help capture the love shared between a family. I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and took photos at a horse stable, of two high school seniors, two precious newborns, one (second) wedding, and also as a second-shooter at a traditional wedding. For all of my clients who hired me to be your photographer- THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You werent just hiring a photographer, you were allowing someone to turn their dream into reality (yes, I realize this sounds so cliche, but its true). I have big plans for 2015, including a website, online gallery proofing and new pricing. Im excited about all of the new families Ill be meeting next year and all of the new opportunities coming my way. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
