My last response to a debate regarding min wage. ****The hilarity to me is I seem to be the only person here screaming for responsibility on our own behalf and everyone else wants the government to fix it Ill end my rant with this. If people took control of their own lives. Sacrificed a few years of luxury and gave up any extras while doing everything in their power to better their situation everyone would be in a better place. Instead our society has turned into a bunch of people who only have to give 50% effort and expect %100 percent of the return. Im arguing because when I pay taxes I pay them all. Yet I see families who dont try because they get huge tax returns for making low wages. More if they have kids. Im tired of people who make min wage crying they cant make it when they alone have the choice, ability and say so on how their life is lived. Its NO ONES responsibility but their own. The rich keep the poor down? No, the poor keep the working class down by siphoning off of societies tit. You are correct. It isnt as easy as it sounds BUT THATS THE POINT!!!!!!!! Its easier to cry to the o might government asking for a fix vs fixing the problems them selves. See where Im going here? It takes work, sacrifice. Time. If you or anyone else is willing to do it, then the REWARDS will reflect your EFFORT Meaning better wages. A better life. Or.. everyone can just keep crying for someone else to fix their own problems. While everyone does that ill drive by in my expensive car wave and say tough shit. Should have worked harder and not given up. Facts are facts. Simple as that. Any argument to that is simply an excuse and lazy. WIth that, Ive got to get back to work
