My last take on Renee Zellweger: Transition is key when youre a pubic figure! Beyond the nip/tucks and age and Im-at-peace points, she shocked the world because four years is a long time not to be seen in public. Her transition into a happy post-Bridget Jones 45-year-old happened in private. The after look came as a surprise because she (and her agents) didnt ease us into it coming from the before look. As Russel Brand said in the video, Baghdad is different now vs years ago; an apple deteriorates through time; he aged — these are life truisms, but they were not shocking because we see and hear snippets of him/about them in between their befores and afters. We all love a good, inspirational stories and empowerment journeys, and she could have been that. Still, alls not lost. Its catch up time now, so hope she makes good use of it. youtu.be/CugXPmLGfP8
