My latest baby...he is the last of 4 babies born to a too young barn cat. The people who brought this one and its sibling (who passed an hour after arriving) said the mama cat was dragging them all over the yard, leaving them in the driveway, and not caring for them. Two passed before they called me and they said they were small like the one who passed here. When I say small, they appeared to be very underdeveloped and the survivor was twice the others size. He is not sucking, so syringing as carefully as I can. I know better than to hold my breathe that he will make it, but I will give him everything I can. Ive heard some of you talk about a gel that comes with some kitten formula, but Ive never seen it or used it. Id be thrilled if he made it, of course, but I also know the odds. Please keep this little baby in your prayers...and me too, as I have to go do round two of the yard sale for PCW and FFI rescues. Im a glutton for punishment! :)
