My latest game in Civilization is pretty interesting. I started with uncontested control of North and Central America. Early on I spread into Europe, and by joining coalitions I won the rest of Europe, a chunk of coast in the Eastern Middle East, and the friendship of the two Africa-based civs. After one of them turned on me I took his Mediterranean holdings, uniting the sea under my rule and establishing myself as one of the worlds two great superpowers. Directly after taking the Mediterranean my navy showed up at the door of the other superpower, sweeping his claims in the Bering straight and capturing his capitol in the Okhotsk Sea. In peace negotiations he gave me his next largest city and two new colonies in the Orient. Now the sun truly never sets on my empire and there are no powers nearly as grand as my own. With three capitols captured I hold most of the Wonders, no one can surpass my navy, and my religion has taken root throughout the world. Of course, now people will start picking ideologies and the whole games going to change.
