My letter to the Premier today: Dear Christy Clark, I am not - TopicsExpress

My letter to the Premier today: Dear Christy Clark, I am not a teacher. I am not a member of any union. I am not associated with any Government party/body/organization. I am not a member of the BCTF or BC Federation of Labour or any such group. HOWEVER, I AM a voter. I AM a tax payer in BC and have been for 21 years. I AM a Canadian & British Columbian citizen with fundamental, Democratic, Charter and Constitutional rights. Here is what I, as a member of your collective employers group (BC voters), think about your leadership and public servant role, as I have witnessed to date. YOU have failed public school students for 12 years in BC. YOU have failed our hard-working teachers of those students for 12 years. YOU have failed parents of public school students in BC for 12 years by not ensuring their kids get an adequately funded public education system. YOU have violated the Constitutional rights of over 40,000 tax-paying & voting citizens who educate our children. YOU have provided yourself and your MLAs and aides with lofty and presumptuous raises, as if youd done something to deserve it (even though we cant afford similar raises for teachers... And even though the public, ie: YOUR employer, did not agree to such a raise). YOU (&other BC Liberals) provided tax cuts equivalent to billions of dollars to big (rich) companies and BC Liberal contributors, despite inadequate Healthcare and Public Education funding. YOU have provoked strikes at least twice that we are aware of (there is no doubt you provoked this one too, so pretending otherwise will just sink you in your quicksand faster). YOU have seriously and critically underfunded our Healthcare system and Nurses. YOU have spent my / our tax dollars inappropriately, wastefully and negligently. YOU have funded objectives that serve you personally and politically, despite less than ethical and moral concerns. YOU have lied to and intentionally misled the public through media, email, websites, twitter, Facebook and old-fashioned letters. YOU have been hypocritical regarding your own past words and published policies and ideals. YOU have made China upset. YOU have made the representatives of about 350,000 union members upset to the point of standing in unity with teachers against you. YOU have failed BC. YOU are a terrible public servant. YOU are a terrible leader. YOU are a fascist, narcissistic & egotistical leader. YOU should drop E80 and accept your fate with arbitration... Or step down. I do not believe this is an adequate performance review to continue your employment with the Government of BC. I will allow you to resign if youd rather not be fired (recalled). You need to step aside an let a capable HUMAN BEING (ie: one who has ETHICS and a sound understanding of the most critical aspects of our society) do the job. If this matter does not have a negotiated deal by September 15, or if you do not agreeto arbitration by September 15, I will do everything in my power and within my rights to take part any way I can to have you and every other Liberal MLA recalled. I will do everything in my power and within my rights to speak publicly, locally, provincially & nationally against the Liberal party, and in particular, YOU. SOLUTION: Cut up your credit cards, return your raises, change education tax income allocations to accurately reflect private/public attendance, add a minor 1% corporate tax increase, drop your appeal, follow the court order, drop E80 and SETTLE THIS STRIKE NOW! Get our kids back to school! Suck up your pride, admit your mistakes and be accountable for your actions... You know, one of those things we all learned in Kindergarten.
