My letter to the editor... I would like to commend David Adams - TopicsExpress

My letter to the editor... I would like to commend David Adams for his courageous efforts in suing Gov. Beshear regarding his attempts to bypass our Constitutional laws. Beshear illegally used Executive Order to set up Obamacare exchanges and begin the expansion of Medicaid. No matter what your feelings are on these programs, Mr. Adams is seeking to defend our laws as they have been written, thereby protecting our rights and liberty. Whenever a person in position of power, such as our Governor, acts to super impose his will over the rule of law, we move closer to tyranny and farther from freedom. Therefore it is important for each of us to stand as watchmen against lawlessness. Yesterday (6/17), Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd heard oral arguments from attorney Patrick Hughes, from northern Kentucky, hired to defend the Governor. And Mr. Adams, who is not a lawyer, though he is a fervent watchman for the rule of law. You can read the particulars of the arguments in this article. tinyurl/macjyvy After hearing arguments, Judge Shepherd has said he will issue his decision next week. I can only hope that Judge Shepherd will carefully consider the case with his eyes on law as it is written, and not on the strained defense offered by Mr. Hughes. Mr. Adams is the plaintiff of record, but he is representative of the people of the state of Kentucky. He is defends our rights to be represented in due process and not to be ‘ruled over’ by Executive Order.
