My life is blessed by the company of artists, deep thinkers, musicians, and wonderful people who care about making a difference in the lives of those around them. Thank you, all of you, especially the lettering artists in my life. Since the death of my father last year and a near fatal car accident 18 months ago Ive remained limited in my scope of full artistic expression. (Rehab continues and thats good -- there is definite progress) ... Sometimes I fantasize that the post office personnel have a special art gallery in Nebraska where they keep these achingly beautiful tiny works of art to admire for a few weeks before I receive them :) Hahaha! I keep all these beautiful cards and envelopes and letters on display in my studio. Shelly-Ann Guinn and Ann Erickson and Kathy Milici and Heather Victoria Helds work are the most recent treasures ... I gasp when I look at their beautiful work ... I hope to be able to respond through hand lettered thank yous in time ... My hands arent quite there yet, but they will be ... The power of a hand written letter is tremendous. Thank you to all my family, friends, and colleagues who have reached out to encourage me through a painstakingly long recovery ...
