My life tends to be an open book; so not sure how many of these are actually unknown: 1. I hate honey and I hate tea (unless it’s Chai). 2. Though I am half Asian, my chopsticks skills are quite laughable. 3. I was a certified EMT, but was terrified to ever use those skills if needed. 4. In first grade I met a half Korean girl in Maryland who shared the same birthday, hospital and doctor as me; then saw her again in Germany. 5. Gave up a volleyball scholarship at a private college on an account of “love.” 6. Had two surgeries in my life, both under the age of 5. 7. Moths freak me out. 8. Birds hate me and the feelings are mutual (unless they are owls or penguins). 9. Been attacked by two different birds; one in the wild and one at a friend’s. Hence the feelings. 10. When I lived in Maryland, I saw the KKK walking through our neighborhood and for years had an extreme fear of them. 11. When I was younger, to ensure I wouldn’t mess up my Barbie’s clothes, I would simply just switch heads. Not so neurotic now! 12. Usually I need to be holding something in my hand to fall asleep…I tend to hold onto the pillow, blanket, tissues, or my dog’s foot. 13. Though I have been attacked by dogs, they are still my favorite and don’t think I could ever live without one. 14. If there is one place I want to go to before I die, it’s Israel. 15. I believe our ultimate purpose in life is to love God and love people.
