My life with epilepsy is the life I have, by a series of circumstances, been given. My family and friends however, choose this life…choose my life with epilepsy as an aspect of their own lives. Over the years I have seen my suffering mirrored in their eyes, but that suffering is always trumped by the love, the compassion, and the concern which I have witnessed radiate from every fiber of their beings. These people, possibly unbeknownst to them, make a complete 13 of Nazareth possible for they are my consciousness, my voice, and my memory during the periods in time when those qualities are lost to me and I am eternally grateful. #OperationRefresh
