My little Chi/JRT has ended up twice now in the vets on a drip when she has eaten inappropriate material. The vet says this time that she has had pancreatitis. Does anyone have advice re the low fat diet she will need to be on and what treats could I use for her. As far as her chewing everything I have tried distraction, giving her proper toys to chew,training games to keep her active, bitter apple spray etc. i have just got a basket muzzle to use when I have to go out but has anyone else dealt with a dog with this long term problem and any advice please?
