My little buddy Pete was hit and killed by a car this evening and I already really miss him, Im expecting to here him scratch on the door so I can let him in. But thats not going to happen. He lived a good happy 7 months, and he was a good companion. I love you Petey. But the reason Im writing this is to show my admiration and gratitude to the four young men that seen him being dragged off the road. They went and got him for me, picked and dug through hardpan got filthy and dusty and buried him for me so I wouldnt have to see him. They all hugged me and showed compassion far beyond their teen years. All four of these young gentlemen have my respect. I had come to the conclusion that there is not much hope for mankinds future, but these 4 kids and I pray that there are more well they are the hope of the future. Just maybe. Thanks guys
