My long awaited baby girl turned 6 years old today. Doctors said she was going to be born with a major congenital defect. (Trisomy 18) Test after test would return positive. I was given the option to abort but I could bare no such thought!!!.. Determined to give my baby a fighting chance, I proceeded with high hopes. Faith that she would live longer than the year I was forewarned. She deserved a fighting chance. My nights seemed endless as I wept and wept, filled with questions, self-hatred, anguish and despair. The day came and a specialist was ready to deliver my helpless child. To the doctors amazement and my delight out of my womb was born a healthy, beautiful bright-eyed baby girl. She was to be my earth angel, my darlingness... ~~~~~👼Angelina👼~~~~~~ Happy Birthday My Love Her gift is a pink heart necklace to remind her that no matter where she goes.
