My long time friend Roxanne shared this with me and I want to expand on it. Most of those ads that are posted on street lights, telephone poles and/or traffic signals near schools ARE too good to.be true for teens and pre-teens. Besides the voicemail in the video, a teen/pre-teen can be setup to sell newspaper and/or magazine subscriptions or peddling overpriced cookware/cutlery in various, sometime third-world like neighborhoods all over L.A. and other major cities. Most times, theyre paid a low wage, high commission or salary vs commission, given unrealistic quotas to meet and/or working UNTIL 10PM. Parents, take a moment to educate your teens/pre-teens about the dangers of these scams. Have them use their smartphones and google the phone number to see what comes up. Research the company via BBB as well as state, government agencies and the website Yelp. Remember the old sayings: If its too good to be true... A fool and his/her money...
