My man never ceases to amaze me. In case I havent said it lately, hes a good good husband and father, with a love for his family that speaks to me daily. It brings me to tears to think about what all he does and is doing... For those who didnt know, every last one of us has gotten the flu, and he got it last, but two certain little girls asked for something for Christmas that requires being built, painted, and tedious customization. I havent hardly seen my husband lately. Its not because he is wanting to be away but hes determined to make this special for his daughters. And if you dont know Brad Smith, he pays attention to detail! He has double work in his regular job lately due to someone not working there anymore, then turning around and working on this at his office, first until midnight every night, but hes pulled all nighters these past two nights just to try to have it done by Christmas Eve. Say what you want about that... ridiculous, not worth it, even though I even told him that - but thats love. The girls cant know what their daddy is doing right now, but one day they will appreciate him all the more because of the time and effort he put in this project. Weve spent a ridiculous amount of money on the flu right here at Christmas, and never once did he yell or gripe to me about that. This Christmas, things in this house wont be perfectly clean, and finishing touches that are usually done may not get done, but in light of all this, and my family all safe and sound in Columbia after the tornado devastation, we may just cry together and hold each other all day on Christmas, because WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR!!! Hes in the home stretch now. Brad Smith, I love you so much!!!
