My many thanks to all who called in offering to be the Raptor Chauffeur. Unfortunately, right after I posted our need to get the hawk transported, he started getting worse and extremely unstable. His symptoms were typical of a brain bleed. This hawk had a head injury, besides other injuries, due to being hit by a car. This afternoon his condition deteriorated quickly and sadly he had to be euthanized. At least he was safe and comfortable during his last days and now he can soar on to his next adventure.
