My meatloaf is not like the others! And my Dad (26 years ago) told my mom that mine beats hers! Daughters Savory Meatloaf 1 lbs ground beef 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 med onion (chopped) 2 Tbsp worcestershire 1 egg (beaten) 1/2 gold or red bell pepper (chopped) 4 oz cheddar (1/4 cubes) Ground saltines Salt and pepper to taste Mix together: ground beef, egg, Worcestershire, 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup. Once blended well; add in onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper. Blend well through mixture. Grind up saltines well (I place in a Baggie, remove air and crush by rolling over with a rolling pin) and add into mixture until desired dryness (I like mine to be moist): usually just over 1 cup. Mix in cheese cubes. Bake (in #6 CI SK) at 325* for 20 mins or until browning on top. Remove from oven, spread remaining soup on top. Return to oven additional 15 mins or until done.
