My meditation for today: Behind the scenes Today I will be mindful that success is almost always built in small, inconspicuous steps that happens largely unnoticed behind the scenes. Only after an accomplishment is completed will the world take notice. Yet when that accomplishment is actually happening, when the work is being done, it rarely attracts much attention. The dancer who gives a brilliant and effortless performance on stage, practices offstage hour after hour, year after year. The entrepreneur who seems to have been in the right place at the right time, worked unnoticed late into the night, month after month, year after year to get there. Today I will remember that success and accomplishment are not limited to those who are lucky. They are available to me if I choose to be disciplined, focused, persistent, committed, positive and enthusiastic. By looking at the success of others, I can see clearly how my hopes and dreams can become a reality, if I look... behind the scenes.
