My memorial to my daughter Laura was left at the Ogden Utah KH on 7th street this AM with the help of my wife Mi Chu . Laura could not live with the thought of being shunned for the third time. After meeting with local elders she took a massive overdose of meds on January 8, 2010 and passed away in a coma on January 10, 2010. All she ever wanted was love and acceptance. She left the organization when she was 17. I spent 16 years convincing her to come back, which she eventually did in Dec of 2005. But living in the world for those 16 years she developed a lifestyle and habits that the religion could not allow. She tried bless her heart, but could not live the life of a witness. She always felt better when she confessed and cleared her conscience, but that led to consequences with the congregation. She tried one last time to do the right thing, to no avail. I miss her terribly still.
