My memory is not the best and i was with my good friend who reminded me of one part in my DJ history and it goes like this. Me and my mate was in HMV and we heard this track come on and i said it would be cool to mix that. So i bought the 12 for 99p. Went home and played around for a couple of hours. Then had something I was happy with. I was playing Pink Coconut that night and i was scared as hell to do it because it was very different. I was playing my set took a deep breath set the pitch and let the mix go. The roar of the crowd made me pull it up. At this I did the same mix at a venue called Parklands suite in Handsworth which was a reggae dance and i was booked to play soul (Birmingham crowds are very unforgiving especially Reggae crowds) This was happening on NYE. I did the mix again the crowd went crazy so much that i cut the mix off and they sang the record. The two records I mix was Oasis Wonderwall and Black St No Diggity. I did not do the mix after that nite because i heard other djs do it so I moved on :). Next time it will be about the nightwear party that me and Djk played at.
