My mind has been wandering tonight... There have been so many with losses...of all kinds...the last few weeks...And there have also been times in the last few weeks that I have been confronted with my own losses...with love of course...But still unexpectedly For me now, it will still bring a tear to my eye once in a while...But more than anything, it causes me to reflect on how blessed I have been in my life thus far... I have also thought about my friends on Facebook...The ones I have lost. I have thought about removing their names from my friend list...But it just doesnt seem right...And somehow its comforting to see their names pop up once in a while...but just a little disconcerting at times... Then there is the problem of posting things sometimes...Things that may be misconstrued to have some other meaning. You cant see the look on their face when they post something...Cant see if they smiled and were being silly...If they winked...If they were saying it with a silly voice or a serious tone. And sometimes I have read the written post and given it an entirely different meaning to what it was originally meant to mean. I never want to EVER post anything that would intentionally hurt or upset anyone...Not the people I love or anyone else! Then there is my favorite part of Facebook...Everyone posting pictures of their vacations...their grandbabies...their kids (as of late, going back to school :) )...Everyone discussing their ups...and downs...life! I get out a little more than I used to, but I still go on vacation (from here) with you when you post your pics! And I really enjoy seeing all the smiling faces! (and every now and then the Johnny Depp pics...Oh...And the cowboys...just sayin...) And just today...some of the kids I grew up with did a walk-thru at the old Gordon High School in Decatur and The Varsity catered their lunch. My sister graduated from there...but we moved and I went to Southwest Dekalb. Nevertheless, I would have LOVED to have been up there and seen some of my old friends from back in the day...And maybe gone by where Tilson Elementary was and maybe even our old house on Pinewood Drive....And maybe even the other house on Weelaunee Road...Off of Flakes Mill. I am loving the pics they are all posting! But most of all...I love yall! :)
