My mom, Barbara Bosse, is a seamstress and has sewed, repaired, crafted, created, etc for years. Its been at least 2 years since she packed up her sewing machine. And her serger now resides at my house. I have been growing a huge stack of mending for over a year. It was so easy to just go to moms and say fix this or hem that. But mom doesnt even sew for me anymore. She will gladly guide, give advice and show how to do things now since its doesnt drive her crazy like it did 25 years ago. Back then it was easier for her to tell me move out the way and let me do it. My pile had easy things to fix, but I was spoiled and didnt have to do them myself. Well today that changed and I tackled my huge mending pile.
