My mom read this poem to me a long time ago. It disturbed me even in my youth. When I was so quick to judge she encouraged me to read the history of most religions and see how women have persecuted in almost all religions. I am so glad and proud that I had a free thinking, open minded, and educated mother. I hope I will be as good of a mom as you are Becky Rawls. Thank you for teaching me not to always follow the dogma.
