My mom was doing pretty well today! She does have some pain we are trying to manage and keep her comfortable. Its probably from being bedridden for the last 2 months.. Her color was good today, she was very alert and trying to communicate, which is still so difficult since she cant speak. Her vitals are all really good. The oxygen percent on the ventillator was set at 35%... It was as high as 80% earlier this week. She told me she wants to get out of there! And that it wasnt a rehab facility.... I explained to her she had to come in to the ICU to get rid of the blood infection.. And as soon as shes well enough from that, she will start getting rehab again. I told her we cant wait until shes well enough to come home... I am, once again, cautiously optimistic !! Thank you all for holding her high in your prayers!
