My mood has been considerably brightened by a letter to the editor which wants to warn us of a terrible conspiracy being undertaken by the Obama White House: Somebody who has been infected by Ebola in Africa is going to want to evade the quarantine in the airports, and enter the country through Mexico instead. While in Mexico, hes going to infect a bazillion people, who will panic because their country isnt up to taking care of them, and they will overwhelm the border to get into the U.S. Our citizens will then have to deal with refugee camps filled with Ebola-stricken Mexicans, who will, of course, infect the rest of us. Obamacare will fail, and the Obama administration will then enact a single-payer government-controlled healthcare system. Obama will put another notch in his belt and celebrate his growing power, and Democratic governors will all applaud. Who knew? (I mean, seriously, folks. That is a summary of an actual letter to the editor, written by one Mark Generales of Bonita Springs FL. Who thinks up this stuff???)
