My mother, Lolita, is a long-lived Alzheimers disease sufferer - TopicsExpress

My mother, Lolita, is a long-lived Alzheimers disease sufferer (first diagnosed in 1996 at the time of the death of my father; though, for nearly 10 years, wholly non-ambulatory and non-communicative, I cannot know how great her suffering is). I confess to be more clear and present with my constant pain of loss; my awareness of which ebbs and flows with nearly every thought. Lolita, for the 5th or 6th time this year (honestly, I lose count), has returned to the hospital for treatment of recurring breathing difficulties. I write now to ask (as an old friend used to say, to covet) your prayers. Please pray for the broadest, deepest, greatest healing for Lolita. I leave it to God to bestow whateer that is. Normally, I wouldnt ask, for as gregarious and transparent as I can be, I also am intensely private. However, as I sense myself at a loss for what to pray, I beseech the kindness of your intercessions. Thank you. Love, always and in all ways...
