My mother is basically on the verge of throwing me out, even if she doesnt want to admit it to herself or me. So, I need a job. Now, obviously, Im looking, but the job market for an overweight 27 year old whose longest term of employment was about 2.5 years and has difficulty connecting with people is not large. In fact said job market is so tiny as to be nearly non-existent. If anyone knows somewhere that is hiring, especially for writing, journalism or cooking related jobs, that they think would actually hire me (I interview great, Im told, so as long as my crap experience and appearance dont turn them off I should be ok), please let me know. Because Im basically at the point of banging my head against a damned metaphorical wall of sending out resumes and applications to every place within 20 miles, knowing they wont even look at them, just to make my parents think Im doing something, while Im also trying to write a business plan and a game so that I can maybe become self employed.
