My name is Chris Polk and I am a lifelong resident of Franklin and Williamson County. I currently have two children and a stepchild in the Franklin Special School District and Williamson County School System. I am very troubled and concerned with those who are seeking office in our school board and feel there are alternative agendas and outside influences. Is there any way that myself and those sharing the same concerns can implore the Williamson Herald to do an in-depth interview with those seeking schoolboard election. Im sure many of you like myself have researched the candidates to find out exactly who they are and why they are seeking this position. If information on the candidates exists its really benign if the information exist at all. Please feel free to post this and share it with as many as possible as early voting begins July 18 and these candidates need to be questioned by the media as to their financial supporters, associations and intentions with our school systems. I support Dr. Looney in his successes educating our children and making Williamson County one of the premier school systems in the state and country. PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE.
