My name is Cyril Ikechukwu Alozieuwa.My friends call me “ZIEUWA”I attended Government College Umuahia.At the college I was privileged to be a college captain. I captained Wareham house of Government College Umuahia between 1975 and 1976.I was also the President of the senior literary and debating society of the college. I was outspoken but humble. I was also kind to my fellow students. I showed love and tolerance to the junior students and respect to the senior ones especially my classmates .Nevertheless, I never tolerated indiscipline. As such the students liked me a lot. Each time after addressing them during the morning assembly, the students would burst out with shouts of “ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA”I was irked by that so one day after I had spoken during the morning assembly, they burst out shouting “ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA” I told them that if I heard that from them again I would make them “ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA, ZIEUWA and ZIEUWA”.At that they ranted into frenzy. The name of “ZIEUWA” rented the air. I later learnt that they gave me that name because I had a knack for using or inventing some English words and sentences each time I came to speak that challenged them to go to their dictionaries to look for the meanings. Moreover the abbreviated form of Alozieuwa which is “ZIEUWA” was synonymous with the meaning,”show the world that you are capable of delivering if you are endowed with the talent”. That was how my name became ZIEUWA, a name synonymous with the rhapsodic and intuitive
